Always happy to hear the sound of our own voices, some of us used to enjoy nothing better than droning on to anybody who would listen. Here, preserved for posterity, are a few speeches. Perhaps some more will be put up if anybody can ever be arsed to type them up…

Wayne’s speech to the Canadian Labour Congress, Ottawa, October 2003- Wayne insists he got an extended standing ovation for this but in reality they probably threw rotten vegetables at him. He talks about youth and labour and holds his hosts to count for their decadence and lack of imagination and self-criticism.
